So...I decided not to update the post I already wrote and just add a new one with Mom Meservy's pictures from the trip instead.  I'm so glad she was such a good photographer because she caught things on camera that Joe and I don't even think to take pictures of because they seem so normal to us now.  But I'm glad I have pictures of them now! :)
